Swallo takes its name from the swallow — a bird that moves with intention across continents, reads landscapes from above, and makes a home wherever it lands without losing its essential nature. Migration is not displacement. It is a way of seeing.

That philosophy is made literal in the GBO collection: each piece begins from the air — the bird's-eye view of land, water, and coastline — and descends into fibre, tracing the living landscapes of Igboland, Eastern Nigeria, handwoven in jute and wool by artisans in India and Nepal.

Founded in 2022, the studio has been longlisted for the Dezeen Awards, shown at Decorex London and Collectible Design Fair in Brussels.

Every piece is made to order, in limited editions, using natural fibres chosen for their durability and their sustainability.
